Rockford Health System welcomes Avi Domnitz-Gebet, D.O., who specializes in pediatric neurology.
Dr. Domnitz-Gebet earned her medical degree at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship in pediatrics, a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric neurology at University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, N.J.
Her interests include autism; ADHD; newborn, child and adolescent neurological exams; seizure disorders; neurocutaneous disorders; headaches; developmental disabilities; cerebral palsy; and traumatic brain injury.

Rockford Health System and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.

Rockford Health System’s Marketing and Public Relations Department received three ADDY Awards during the Rockford Chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) celebration on February 19. The awards recognize excellence in advertising in the local market.
RHS received a silver ADDY for the television commercial “The Place for Quality.” The health system also received a silver ADDY in the direct marketing category for the piece “Wishbook 2014 – Well Wishes.” The Rockford Health Gala – Radiance Invitation was recognized with a bronze award under the collateral material category.

Rockford Health System hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in the Cancer Center this morning to unveil its new Linear Accelerator. This newest generation, high-tech equipment will deliver faster, safer, more effective and more convenient treatment through precise beams of radiation. The project was funded by the Rockford Memorial Development Foundation. Through donor gifts and investment income the foundation donated a total of $7 million, the largest investment the foundation has ever made in a single project.
