Santa Visits Rockford Memorial Hospital, Delivers Presents to Pediatrics Unit

toydrive_3_webSanta visited Rockford Memorial Hospital this morning to attend the annual RHS Ambassadors Holiday Toy Drive, sponsored by the Rockford Memorial Development Foundation. Toys can make a tremendous difference to a child facing illness or injury. They help distract, soothe, and entertain young patients and help to occupy siblings who are visiting the hospital or outpatient clinics. Toys are distributed year-round to playrooms, therapy departments, and waiting areas throughout RHS where children receive care, and are also given as gifts to hospitalized children, especially during the holidays. After the annual breakfast, Santa visited patients in the pediatric unit and delivered presents to our young patients. Thanks for stopping by, Santa!
